Tiffany Altamirano MFT Registered Intern

Hello and welcome! Thank you for taking the time to review my counseling services. I work with helping children, youth, and families discover their strengths. Children especially, need to feel they can be just who they are without feeling judged. I have embraced this model of meeting my clients exactly where they are in a caring, supportive, and non-judgmental setting.

I specialize in helping children and youth who are facing adverse effects of anxiety, depression, behavioral and social problems, low self-esteem, divorce, loss and grief. I also work closely with parents to help foster a stronger parent/child relationship bond. I do this by using interventions that promote positive change, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and Art Therapy. My desire is to equip children, youth, and families with techniques and skills that can be applied in a variety of settings, such as home or school.

I look forward to partnering with you through any circumstance you may be currently facing. Please feel free to contact me for more information or to schedule an appointment soon.
